"PJC Council might not have been as good as other schools' council, but we are afterall a young college and we have a long way to go. council still has to carry on compiling our list of to-dos and not-to-be-done for the later councils. we might not have been the best, but we have done the best. i am not in any position to talk about the previous 5 councils, but i am definitely in one to talk about 6th council. we put in our best to serve the school and do all that we can. 6sc we stand as one and we feel for what we do. sc was never our second choice; it has been first all along. from the time where some of us joined o2 we knew that we wanted to be in council. we might not have provided a lot for the students, but everything takes time to build and set up. if the students think that 6th council has done totally nothing in the past one year, i'm sorry to say that you might be wrong. we have organised orientation, open house, grad night, lent umbrellas and games, cheered for school teams, set up a student centre. and if you think that council has done NOTHING, i wonder if you were one of those who ever stepped into the council room to borrow umbrellas on rainy days and loaned games when you were bored and attended orientation. but one thing i am very sure is that you didn't believe that council set up the student centre for you guys and i know that you are not going to even step into the student centre to enjoy the facilities and use the pool table, right?Council is meant as a BRIDGE between the student population and the school management. BRIDGE simply meant a connection of some sort and NOT that we are on either side. we have to maintain a neutral stand to get the best out of the situation by looking at it objectively.At least those of us in 6SC have not made any empty promises to anyone during our campaigning last year. we did not promise to get you air cons in the hall and you cannot come after us for not having air cons in the hall at this point in time.To anyone who is unhappy with council: please come to us direct and let us know what you are unhappy with and not talk behind our back using fake names to attack us on mr tong's blog. please leave his blog alone and come approach us directly to let us know what we should improve on. and in case you haven't been paying much attention during council dialogues, these are the different ways you can contact he council:1) email - pjc6sc@gmail.com2) feedback box - this is located at the study corner, which is behind the canteen in case you are unaware3) approach any councillors anytime you see one, or you can drop by the council room to find one (you know where that is? it's along the cca rooms, which is by the track)"

It ain't as easy as you think it is to be a councillor. With all the respect, I know that even my own friends aren't even supportive of Council & some may even criticize actions done by us. I believe that to each has his own. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. The word is opinion & not criticism. Opinion should be given not as insults but as feedbacks to improve the culture of PJC.A year ago, why did we decide to join council? For fame? For Attention? you got it all wrong man. I can proudly say that all of us join council for a passion. A passion to instill change. Do you think we're so free and bo-liao to go & do so many things? To try so hard? To spend so much time doing this & that? We're afterall students, we have the A levels too, you know?"

Recently have visited Mr Tong's blog n read the tag by the student body..
i seriously feel that the students have not really fully comprehend the student council in PJC. I fully understand how ur feel, cuz i nv have esperience bein a SC member in past years, this is exp i have during my JC years onli. I think that, we council are humans too. We have feelings, emotions and we feel what ur feel..we are students in PJc afterall(put it simply.) How can we not know how ur feel? I sometimes realli wonder, why ppl hated SC? actually not onli PJC, but other schools, other JCs even other secondary schools. But why? ur must know tt this scene is ubiquitous. everyone feels the same, i once dislike SC too. It's the mentality in people, they couldnt accept it, they think tt these ppl can be a councillor, so do eveyone of them. Yes, ur are absolutely right. but why not take up this leadership role? yes, i agree, anyone can be a councillor, jus tt we happen to be taking up all these positions, why not come up to voice what ur realli wanted to voice for the students? im for certain that if ur were in our positions will ur think the same. how's ur feeling when ppl scolded you, criticize you, ur abilities, ur role of bein a councillor is not met..how would you feel? Similarly, like any other ccas, if ur cca have been criticized, how would ur feel? spare a thought for councillors in the world..please...not cuz im a councillor, tt im telling you this.why spam ppl's blog, n tag rudely on mr tong's tag board...why? i must say that ur actions truly show tt ur are not mature enough as a 17/18 yrs old person. Ur are close to bein an adult soon..couldnt ur jus stand in ppl's position, and think? what if the person is you...im sure JC students are mature enough people to voice what they think or feel appropriately and not childishly. Ever ur had any dislike, who ever, or any student ever point tt out? never..they only hide behind a nickname and talk about others.. we council accept views, bad or good views. and change upon it. if ur dun surfaced it out, but use underhand means to ruin SC's image, how will ur bein viewed as? low class people.. voice out opinions daringly...in this egalitarian society now, every one has the right..we are equal, we can be right, we can be wrong. but to improve we take in ppl's comments abt us and improve. If ur think what u have done, liks sss etc.. ur are not helping anyone of us(be it councillors, students, teachers in PJC). ur are mature enough to be sensible and responsible for ur actions, in this course, have hurt many ppl around ur. please take note about ur actions, ur are not helping to voice student's opinions but instead ruin PJC's image as a caring JC. i think most importantly now, what can be done is to, realli sit down and think...what exactly you wan the school to be like, what u wan as a student, what u wan in the college and not hide and use underlying means to bring down council and the college's name. Everyone can be a councillor, but is the way others judged u that council is viewed as bad. Not everyone is perfect. i must say.. it's important to be transparent, democratic and equal.. To sss: be sensible and do the right thing.sss: you may hate me, but what im trying to bring across here is that, everyone is fair and equal. council are humans, we are students too. We have emotions, we hurt, you hurt too.. why do things in this manner.. be sensible, be responsible. you can hate SC, but be responsible enough to state ur name and class..you advise John to do that, but wad abt you? u mean by doin this, you are right keepin ur identity..and we are wrong..we tag using our name, wad about u? i can tell u honestly, im Yeo Li Xuan Felicia, from 05S25, im a 6th Student councillor..voice ur views anyway u wan. Hey councillors, Haha. Today is 27th of May. It's been a year since our investiture. Hehs. It's been a great term. U don't know how much I'll miss you guys man. You guys totally Rocks. Thanks for being there for me during the most difficult times in JC. Thanks for all the encouragement, hugs & support given. Simply thanks for everything! I think I'll just cry buckets during this year's invest lah! Haha. Alrighties. Love you guys.
